well. definitely not number 1 or 5
    the others maybe
i just think if you want to lose weight you need to make small portions, but eat 3 meals every day no exceptions! that actually helps you lose weight. definitely number 3 for sure. and exercise, and cut down on desserts. its slow but guaranteed to work. hope i helped :]

DO NOT SKIP BREAKFAST!!! NEVER!!! EVER!!! for breakfast, make sure you eat a cold cereal with lots of protein and fiber. i would recommend kashi go lean crunch. instead of substituting bread for rice, just eat whole wheat bread. fruit juices are good, but water is better. Atkins diet will help you lose weight fast, but you gain it all back once you get back off it. do not adopt vegetarian diet, you need protein.
another good way to lose weight is instead of eating three big meals, break them down to six smalls meals like this:
    breakfast
    snack like granola bar
    lunch
    high protein or fiber snack
    dinner
    high protein snack
I would recommend “The Abs Diet” by David Zinczenko. Check it out, i got six pack abs now :)
he basically tells you what to eat and what exercises to do.
60 percent of people who lost weight and kept it off, did it by regular diet AND exercise.
seriously, check out that book, it will do you a world of good

    Losing weight without starving yourself

    1. Skipping meals will not work. Plus haven’t you heard people who eat breakfast weigh less?
    2. For bread do not eat white bread. Get whole grain or wheat instead.
    3. Cut out all drinks besides water and milk.

    1. skipping meals especially breakfast. NO. B’fast is the most important meal of the day, and skipping any meal just tends to lead to overeating at another meal.

    2. substituting bread for rice. NO. Subbing one bad carb for another isn’t an effective method of weight loss, and bread isn’t considered a health or diet food (in fact if it’s white bread or rice, it’s worse).

    3. drinking fruit juices instead of soft drink. NO, NEITHER. High in sugar and while it’s nutritionally better, you’re better off to drink water instead. I’ll go for a zero calorie soda before a glass of high calorie juice, but neither are good for weight loss.

    4. following low-carbohydrate, high-protein diet like the Atkin’s diet and South Beach diet. NOT REALLY. Atkins is downright unheallthy long term, and the chance of weight gain afterward is high. I’ve been on both Atkins and South Beach. SB is the better diet but bottom line you’ve got to learn to eat right, and cutting all of anything out of your diet (carbs or protien or fats, etc just isn’t healthy).

    5. adapting vegetarian diet. NOT NECESSARILY. If you can get in enough protein, it’s not unhealthy but vegetarians can still be fat people because they can still eat junk food and they can still consume too many calories.

Eat healthy. Lean protein, fruits and veggies, whole grain products, healthy fats, and lots of water. Add to that regular exercise and you’ll have a combination that will help you lose weight and keep it off.

first one will make it harder to loose weight as u’ll be tempted by the wrong food

    second one i dunno about

third one is a really good idea, just dont drink too much (too much fibre screws up ur bows)

hell no to the fourth! (weight loss is ment to improve ur health, not mess ur body around

and in a vegetarian diet you wouldn’t have enough protein from meat wouldnt u??

just cut down on fatty foods, and do more exercise. eat everything in moderation and if ur doing all that then good on you, stick to it though! lol :P

first off, this is not a matter of opinion question.
skipping breakfast or other meals will slow your metabolism….bad
substituting bread for rice won;t necessarily do anything, the only way to lose weight is to take in les calories than you burn, but eating foods that are more complex and have more nutrients wil keep you sated longer, and therefor make you want to eat less often
fruit juice is a better choice than soda because it at least has nutrients, however, it is still high in sugar and caloires,
low carb diets aren’t healthy, carbs should make of at least 40% of your daily calories (keep in mind fruits, veggies etc are also carbs).
adapting a vegetarian diet won’t necessarily make you lose wieght, but it can cause nutritional definciencies if you don;t know what you;re doing.
again, the lonly way you can lose weight is by taking in less calories than you burn.. eating sugars and other simple carbs will cause you to be more hungry more often, but eating 5000 calories a day in protein or complex carbs would make you gian weight as well.
i suggest going to caloriecount.about.com or fitday. com and track you food and activites so you know your calorie defincit or surplus, and can analyze your nutritional intake.
again, this isn’t a matter of opinion like :whagt is better, chocolate or caramel on your sundae?”, it’s simple fact.

    Lose weight fast

    1. Never a good idea to skip a meal especially breakfast, you’ll only overeat the rest of the day,you might not think it ,but you will.
    2. Won’t really make a difference. You should try to eat wholemeal on both counts, after all they’re both carbohydrates.
    3. Tricky, fruit juice should be good for you but, it contains a lot of natural sugars , best to stick to water, herbal drinks and low sugar drinks.
    4. All diets will work for a while, what you need is to give the body all that it needs only less of it.
    5. Not all vegetarian meals are low in calories you have to judge the fat and nutritional aspect of any diet before undertaking.
