100% whole wheat bread has higher fiber so it is both good for overall health and dieting. As far as what to eat to feel full and still lose weight, add some protein to your veggies and salads.

    Losing weight without starving yourself

When you eat healthy foods in healthy amounts and are active, it will help you to have a healthy weight. Whole wheat and rice will help you feel full, but still be careful about how many carbs you take in.

yeh theres not that much difference based on weight loss, expecpt for the fact that wholegrains will keep you fuller, an therefore your lesss lickely to eat more. e.g. the same amount of wholewheat pasta will fill you, whereas your still be hungry from white pasta.

white refined on its own wont actually make you gain extra weight though..i just found this out as i was wondering the same thing..wholegrain is always a little better for weight loss though

Whole wheat bread and pasta are better because not only do they provide the carbs you need but they also provide a lot of the B vitamins necessary for metabolism. White is worst because you’re getting all the calories with none of the benefits or nutrients. Basically you’re getting empty calories. This point is important for losing weight because when you’re losing weight you’re trying to make every calorie count; you’re trying to make everything you eat not just empty calories but nutrient dense so you can eat all the nutrients you need for the day but still get less calories.

    As for feeling full.
The number one food that makes you full is protein.
    Other are:
    Complex Carbs
Fiber( you can get fiber from vegetables but salads usually only contain lettuce or other leafy greens that aren’t so filling)
Fats( not butter but omega-3’s from fish, nuts, seeds and olive oil, avocado etc): These keep you full between meals.
Also, it takes 20 minutes to get full.

whole wheat is better, but don’t overdue it. and many times whole wheat and whole grain items have more calories than the regular, but they r better for you …eat a slice of multi grain bread in the morning with jelly spread on it and it kinda regulates your appetite, but do it within an hour of waking up, drink some coffee with it too, yummy yummy in my tummy

    Need to lose weight?

Whole wheat vs white bread really makes very little if any difference when it comes to weight loss. At the end of the day they are both starchy carbs that don’t do you a lot of good as far as fighting off hunger for long.

The best way to stave off hunger is to avoid carbs. I’d stay away from fruit and bread altogether and rather go for salad with non-carb salad dressing, meat, sugar-free jello, and non-starch vegetables
