Brown rice has more fibre, so it might fill you up faster. But eating loads of anything won’t make you slender. (Trust me, I’m an expert — currently slim, previously enormous. god bless dr atkins!).

Brown rice has more fiber and more nutrients because it still has the husk on it, same thing for whole wheat bread and anyting made with whole grains. So-Yes it will, more fiber helps things move through your intestines (preventing constipation) and will also help lower your cholesterol. Eating more fiber will also make you feel fuller and stabalize your blood sugar which will limit those crazy cravings for unhealthy foods.
Losing weight without starving yourself
Well if it’s the only thing you are changing in your eating habits, no. If you watch your carbs and white rice in fact almost any white food will turn to sugar which turns into fat. But you have to eat healthy, fruits, veggies, some meat and dairy. If you want to loose weight I would recommend Weight Watchers, they have a good program, they teach your how to eat in portion control so you can still have the things you want. It’s good if you want to loose a little or a lot of weight. Plus they have a great plan on how to maintain your goal.

I’d eliminate rice and add fresh veggies/fruits to diet instead. Use as many colors as you can.
