Could my diet be the cause of my mental stress?

I am constantly at war with myself inside my head… (Questions, decisions, thoughts, others thoughts and more.) I also have a horrible diet. I eat a ridiculous amount of food but stay skinny. Sure mate…. your diet has an enormous impact on your health and vitality and the state of your mind……… eat more foods rich in calcium and magnesium ie ~ leafy and green vegies such as broccolli, kale, chard, buk choy, celery, fresh fish like tuna and salmon and sardines, organic nuts and seeds like almonds, brazil nuts and sunflower seeds ….. organic with the nuts and seeds to avoid the nasty sulfites and other chemicals they use to “preserve” the commercial varieties that will upset sensitive bodies.
magnesium is known as the antistress mineral and will bolster your body’s abillity to better deal with the every day stressy situations we are all exposed to at some level………. foods rich in magnesium will encourage the production ofhydrochloric acid inyour tummy thus aiding in constipation and bloating and gassiness.
foods rich in magnesium will also help to lower blood pressure and even out your thinking patterns.
calcium rich foods like the green vegies (preferably raw as cooking devitalises them … or lightly steamed), nuts and seeds and fresh fish will also help alleviate insomnia, achy bones, irritability and moodiness, headaches and migraines .
ditch the sodas, pop and soft drinks if you drink any as they will only serve to dehydrate you terribly….. you’d be amazed at how being just a little dehydrated can affect your mood and energy levels….. they will also leach the calcium straight from your bones …. any carbonated drink will do the same thing……. plus they are loaded with chemically processed man made sugar which has no nutritional value and will only serve to stress an already stressed system.
drink 8 glasses of water daily…. hydrate yourself properly…. you need water to digest foods, transport nutrients, lubricate your joints, think, breathe, do anything really ….. eat more fresh fruits that are low in sugar like strawberries, watermelon, pears and cantaloupe.

That could be the cause of your mental stress. Try eating more veggies and fruit for a healthy diet, use the proteins to build muscle, that will take down some stress. The peanut butter is healthy and full of protein, just be sur to eat it on a healthy balanced diet. Try eating only the egg whites with a class of skim milk or silk milk. You can eat the chocolate at least once a week, Just don’t eat a whole bunch of it, also it the semi sweet chocolate, it is low in sugar and it the only chocolate that is healthy for you.

yes it could be coz if u r on a diet you maybe feel very worried or feeling uncomfortable with this new system …..but you’ll get used to that after 2 weeks max.

Your diet doesn’t help, but I don’t think it would cause your thoughts to be such an extreme problem. You should eat healthy and see if it helps, but also try to find some peace and resolve the conflicts. Write down what is bothering you and then write down some solutions to those problems. You probably have some relationships that are frustrating you and you need to learn how to be yourself and say what you mean to people tactfully.
