No, you are not stripping your body of anything.  Oatmeal is high in fiber so you&#039;re using the potty more.  That&#039;s all.

Be sure that&#039;s a 1/2 cup serving because oatmeal carbs are high.  A quick 1/2 cup guide is a &quot;jello&quot; cup.  It&#039;s not very much.

Yes the oatmeal diet is very safe.  The tuna, baked fish &amp; chicken and lots of veggies especially green veg. are good.  Lots of water is the key to weight loss along with walking. 
Going to the bathroom a lot is great.  Oatmeal will do that and is good for your body.  It is flushing out all the impurities. 

My husband has done the oatmeal 2 meals a day along with a healthy dinner and walking and has lost 43 pounds.

Consider taking vitamin c tabs. Some are chewable others you take with a drink. Adding a multivitamin wouldn&#039;t be a bad idea. I eat 2lbs of tuna 3xweek, and have hard boiled eggs and oatmeal with fruit every morning. I have salads and baked potatoe or pasta every night ( I run a lot). But I do take vit C.
