yes this does help you lose weight, I ate this for 2 weeks and lost 10 pounds, I recommend adding hot sauce, It is not easy to do though, the rice and tuna are not very filling, and you will be constantly hungry

60 Page FREE Dieting Book

That would make sense - brown rice has fiber, tuna has healthy fats and tons of protein. However, there's no reason to be THAT extreme - you can get the same results if you also include fresh veggies, fruit. You can even have a reasonable serving of ice cream or a cookie.

First answerer raises a real good point about mercury and tuna - your friend can eat other fish, or can even eat chicken prepared in a low-fat way.

Smart Weight Loss Free Report

It might work on the grounds of losing weight, but so does not eating at all. Tuna which is high in mercury should be restricted to about 15 onces a week. Brown rice is a good source of carbs, and tuna a good source of protein and omega-3, but they lack many other valuable nutrients. IE. Licopein found in tomatoes... I would stick to a balanced diet in moderation and stay away from fads.
